NC State University's Industrial Extension Service

N.C. State's IES supports North Carolina business in the workplace. IES helps companies stay abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in both engineering and business management.


North Carolina offers a variety of employment services and benefits to veterans who are unemployed or seeking employment, including: employment services to assist job seekers find work, unemployment benefits while you are seeking employment, and apprenticeship and on-the-job training programs that pay you while you prepare for a sustainable career.

North Carolina Chamber

SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and helping small businesses start, grow, and succeed nationwide.


Self-Help is a community development lender, credit union, and real estate developer that works with individuals, organizations and communities traditionally underserved by conventional markets.

Small Business & Technology Development Center

The SBTDC is committed to providing knowledge, education and other supportive resources that enable existing small and mid-sized businesses, emerging entrepreneurs and local/state leaders to innovate and succeed.

Small Business Center Network

The Small Business Center Network supports the development of new businesses and the growth of existing businesses by being a community-based provider of training, counseling, and resource information.

The IDA and Asset Building Collaborative of North Carolina

The Collaborative is a statewide organization serving as the central coordinating agency for asset-based development in North Carolina. The Collaborative is a private, non-profit organization funded by public and private sources.
